Required for the polystar® impulse welding tongs. The generous plug and connection cables (6 m in total) from the impulse generator and welding tongs give you the required radius for large-format packaging, for example. You get even more space with the extension connection cable (3 m).

D-Tongs
The heating band supports and the pliers handles of the D-Tongs (standard) are arranged in a T-shape.
The opening of the pliers is approximately 20 mm. The impulse pliers seal the film material directly at the edge of the bag or a maximum of 25 mm away from it.
Available seam lengths: 150 to 600 mm. -
SFZ-Zongs
The heating band supports and grips of the SFZ-Tongs are also arranged in a T-shape. These pliers can be opened by approx. 25 mm thanks to the extended clamp. The weld seam can be placed up to approx. 100 mm from the edge of the bag.
Available seam lengths: 300 to 600 mm. -
DS-Tongs
The heating band supports of the DS-Tongs are arranged as a kind of extension of the pliers handles. This arrangement allows the heating band supports to "grip" the film material like a pair of scissors. Ideal for joining film rolls together, for example.
Available seam lengths: 150 to 400 mm.
The advantages of the 120 GE impulse generator are quickly explained: small, compact, robust and equipped with a 3-meter plug cable - so the impulse generator can also be used for large-format packaging.
Provided, of course, that you connect a suitable welding tong. And here there are several options you can choose from.
Form:
D-Tongs (standard): The heating band supports and the pliers handles are arranged in a T-shape. The tong opening is approx. 20 mm. These tongs weld the film material directly at the edge of the bag or max. 25 mm away from it.
SFZ-Tongs: Here too, the heating band carrier and pliers handles are arranged in a T-shape. However, these pliers can be opened a little further (approx. 25 mm) thanks to the extended pliers clamp and can place the weld seam up to approx. 100 mm from the edge of the bag.
DS-Tongs: Here the heating band supports are arranged as a kind of extension of the pliers handles. This arrangement allows the heating band supports to "grip" the foil material like scissors.
Weld length:
The weld seam lengths of the welding tongs can be between 150 and 600 mm, depending on the tong shape.
By the way: the welding tongs also have a 3 meter connection cable to the pulse generator, so that the welding unit can normally move up to 6 meters from the socket in the room. If that is not enough, another 3 meters can be added using an extension cable.
