Size doesn't matter: We'll take it all!

Large and heavy bags and sacks, filled with, for example, free-flowing products, can be filled with these polystar® The bags and pouches are perfectly sealed using heat sealers. The horizontal arrangement of the heating element supports allows the bags and pouches to stand upright during sealing. This means that none of your product can leak out.

Add a pallet truck to these double-heated pulse welding machines, and you have a perfect packing station. polystar® The 400 HM series foil sealing machine is placed on the height-adjustable work platform of the pallet truck. An integrated, also height-adjustable, roller conveyor beneath the work platform ensures easy feeding of the bags or sacks between the horizontal heating element carriers. Now simply trigger the sealing pulse with the foot pedal – done!

The 400 HM series of heat sealers is available in working widths from 400 mm to 1,000 mm. Depending on the working width, the front heating element carrier is held in place by two to four sturdy spacers positioned approximately 30 mm above the heating element carrier. This also means that there is an automatic upper limit to the bag feed – the distance from the bag edge to the sealing seam can therefore only be 30 mm.

What if you need more distance between the bag edge and the seal? Just let us know, because we naturally have a solution for that too: The heating band supports are mounted on a U-profile. This gives you more flexibility without compromising on a reliable seal. The only thing you then need to decide is from which side the bags or sacks should be fed in – from the right or the left.

Foil welding using the proven heat impulse method
Energy-efficient (from 0.8 kWh) and therefore environmentally friendly, because electricity is only consumed when the welding pulse is triggered. The heat pulse process also means there are no preheating phases. Simply switch on the power, set the welding and cooling time, and start welding.

FAQ about polystar® 400 HM series

Which materials can be welded with the polystar® 400 HM series?

Polyethylene, polypropylene, PA/PE films and a wide variety of composite films can be welded without a side fold. Other types of material are also possible. Please feel free to contact us.

Are there any wearing parts?

Typical wear parts are:

  • heating elements
  • If a cutting device is present, the blades and the pressure cord with eyelets are also affected by wear.

The wearing parts can be replaced by qualified personnel. Please read the operating instructions for more information.

In general, repairs may only be carried out by qualified personnel!

How often do the wearing parts need to be replaced?

How often the wearing parts, such as the heating element, need to be replaced depends on many factors, such as the type and thickness of the material, performance or service life. There is therefore no clear answer here.

Is the welding electronics defective if the foot switch does not trigger a pulse?

If the lifting magnets are not triggered when the foot switch is pressed, but the LED on the electronics still flashes, the error is probably already in the electronics. First check the fuses and the foot switch. If you have any further problems, please call us.
