Whether aluminum or paper composite or cellophane: these materials can be heat sealed. The permanently heated sealing elements ensure a firm seal: airtight and aroma-tight.
The heat sealer polystar® 260 HSG is not only compact in its design, but also really fast: bags made of polypropylene (PP), for example, can be sealed within 1.3 seconds. But Doypack bags can also be sealed within 2.4 seconds - with the appropriate temperature setting. This means that the polystar® 260 HSG heat sealing device can also be used in shops of bakeries, confectioners, coffee roasters, etc. The understated design in dark anthracite can be easily integrated into any shop. This means you can safely hand over the freshly packaged - and aroma-sealed - goods to your customers for transport home.
Of course, the continuously heated polystar® 260 HSG heat sealing device also suitable for continuous use. Even ongoing production with high quantities can be sealed over several hours without any problems.
The ease of use speaks for itself. The temperature is entered to the exact degree and the sealing time to the tenth of a second using an incremental encoder. After a short warm-up phase, you can begin: the bag is placed between the sealing elements. Then a short press on the foot switch and the sealing elements close and the sealing process begins. Once the sealing elements are opened, the bag is tightly sealed.
You even have a choice when it comes to embossing the 10 mm wide sealing seam:
- Wave embossed seam with 7 horizontal grooves (standard equipment),
- Wave embossed seam with vertical grooves for particularly fine foil material,
- Wave embossed seam with 3 horizontal grooves for particularly thick composite films or
- Smooth seam without wave embossing.
It’s that easy to configure the best sealing seam for your packaging bags.
Important: The polystar® 260 HSG is not suitable for polyethylene bags (PE bags).
