Mobile - Light - Handy: You can get anywhere with it!

Mobile: Each of the polystar® Welding guns are equipped with a cable length of three meters. If that is not enough, the range can be extended by another six meters to a total of nine meters. In addition, there is the plug cable of the polystar® Pulse generator with also three meters and you can work with a maximum radius of 12 meters.

Light: The heaviest welding tongs of the brand polystar® weighs approx. 1 kg. It is also the one with the longest seam length. Thermoplastic films, eg made of PE (polyethylene), or thin aluminum composite films can be welded over a length of 600 mm.

Handy: You hold and operate the polystar® Welding tongs with just one hand. Press the tongs handles together to open the tongs. To close the tongs, simply release the pressure from the tongs handles and use your thumb to trigger the welding pulse.

For each of the polystar® Of course, you also need the welding gun polystar® Pulse generator 120 GE. In combination, the two components work as a perfect unit in the energy-saving - and therefore environmentally friendly - heat pulse process. In addition, the welding unit is ready for use immediately and without warm-up time and works absolutely reliably. It does not matter whether you are welding individual bags or sacks or permanently joining long and unwieldy film packaging together by seam-to-seam welding. You can adjust the length of the welding pulse continuously on the polystar® pulse generator.

A visual control (light display) of the welding process and an acoustic error signal if the welding pulse is activated too briefly help you to weld your film material perfectly. The adjustable contact pressure of the welding gun for a consistent welding result rounds off the package.

By the way, we have three different types of pliers available for you:

• D-pliers (Standard): The heating band supports and the pliers handles are arranged in a T-shape. The pliers opening is approx. 20 mm. These pliers weld the film material directly at the edge of the bag or max. 25 mm away from it.
• SFZ pliers: Here too, the heating band carrier and pliers handles are arranged in a T-shape. However, these pliers can be opened a little further (approx. 25 mm) thanks to the extended pliers clamp and can place the weld seam up to approx. 100 mm from the edge of the bag.
• DS pliers: Here, the heating band supports are arranged as a kind of extension of the pliers handles. This arrangement allows the heating band supports to "grip" the foil material like scissors.

Important: The polystar® Pulse generators with the associated welding tongs are not suitable for sealing thicker composite films or films with side folds.
