Description
When it matters: They keep quiet!
If we were a famous battery manufacturer, the equally famous bunny would be drumming permanently at this point. polystar® Table welding machines of the 400 M series work just as persistently: they weld, weld, weld and weld…
There are three good reasons for perseverance:
-
Robust construction
Double heating, automatic welding and cooling time, foot pressure switch and a sturdy housing complement each other. This combination allows many types of film up to 2 x 0.40 mm thick to be reliably welded. -
Comfortable working
The sealing process can be conveniently started using the foot switch. This leaves your hands free and you can operate the optional cutting device or prepare the next bag for sealing during the sealing and cooling time. -
Foil welding using the proven heat impulse process
Energy-saving (from 0.8 kWh) and therefore environmentally friendly, because electricity is only used when the welding pulse is triggered. The heat pulse process also means that there are no heating phases. Simply switch on the power, set the welding and cooling time and start welding.
The 410 M series goes one step further and impresses with sophisticated technology:
- The temperature can be adjusted to the exact degree
- The welding and cooling time can be selected in tenths of a second
The welding processes always take place under the same conditions - no further adjustment is necessary. - The welding parameters can be protected by an operator code
- An integrated piece counter, program memory for different settings and a stop and error function round off the intelligent control package.
But that’s not all: the highlight of this film welding series is the residual heat detection.
- The residual heat detection protects the heating elements, which means less wear and tear on the heating elements.
- Because the residual heat detection only transmits the difference between the actual temperature in the heating elements and the set target temperature to the control electronics, the required power consumption is considerably lower than with a conventional film sealing device using the heat pulse method.
The basic models polystar® 401 M and 601 M as well as 413 M and 613 M can be expanded to create perfect workstations with additional options: Cutting device, plug-in table, film dispenser for one roll of tubular film or film roll magazine for several tubular film rolls can be adapted to your work situation in the modular system.
These reliable polystar® Film sealing devices for use with both PE tubular film and prefabricated bags, e.g. made of polyethylene, PA/PE composites or thin aluminum composite films - in the warehouse, shipping, workshop, etc., etc., etc.

FAQ about the polystar® 400 M series
Which materials can be welded with the polystar® 400 M series?
Which materials can be welded with the polystar® 400 M series?
Polyethylene, polypropylene, PA/PE films and a wide variety of composite films can be welded without a side fold. Other types of material are also possible. Please feel free to contact us.
Are there any wearing parts?
Are there any wearing parts?
Typical wear parts are:
- heating elements
- If a cutting device is present, the blades and the pressure cord with eyelets are also affected by wear.
The wearing parts can be replaced by qualified personnel. Please read the operating instructions for more information.
In general, repairs may only be carried out by qualified personnel!
Can the heating elements be replaced?
Can the heating elements be replaced?
The heating elements must be replaced by qualified personnel. Please read the operating instructions.
How often do the wearing parts need to be replaced?
How often do the wearing parts need to be replaced?
How often the wearing parts, such as the heating element, need to be replaced depends on many factors, such as the type and thickness of the material, performance or service life. There is therefore no clear answer here.
Is the welding electronics defective if the foot switch does not trigger a pulse?
Is the welding electronics defective if the foot switch does not trigger a pulse?
If the lifting magnets are not triggered when the foot switch is pressed, but the LED on the electronics still flashes, the error is probably already in the electronics. First check the fuses and the foot switch. If you have any further problems, please call us.
Please read the operating instructions for this.
In general, repairs may only be carried out by qualified personnel!
What material thickness can be welded?
What material thickness can be welded?
For example, polyethylene films with a thickness of 2 x 0.40 mm can be welded. The information may vary for other materials.
Can you weld tubular films with a width of 400 / 600 mm?
Can you weld tubular films with a width of 400 / 600 mm?
The passage width for tubular films is 330 mm for model 401 M and 525 mm for model 601 M.
A 400 mm wide tubular film can therefore be easily welded with the 601 M model.
